I am a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Cornell University, with a minor in Computer Science. My CV is available here. You can reach me at rx24@cornell.edu.
My research is at the intersection of Economics and Computer Science. I study learning and information empirically and theoretically. A theme of my current research is to combine theory and evidence in human-AI collaboration to design algorithms around human biases, see here.
I am a member of Cornell’s initiative on Artificial Intelligence, Policy, and Practice (AIPP). During my Ph.D., I have interned at Microsoft Research New England as a research intern, and at Amazon as an economist.
I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours in Comparative Literature and Economics. I also spent a wonderful year at Yale University via the selective Y-VISP program.
In a past life, I ride horses and take pictures of stars. View some of my works here.
How to pronounce my name? Audio.
